First Baptist Church, South Boston has served this community, as the Body of Christ, since the year 1882. We continue to be a caring and hopeful congregation of believers, celebrating a colorful history and enjoying a dynamic desire to serve The Kingdom of God.
As we build upon our distinguished heritage, we are committed to being an innovative, inclusive Christian fellowship of friendly, caring believers who are united in our desire to engage in meaningful worship, witness, education, ministry and service. We give thanks for those who have passed this way and we faithfully anticipate the future, as God's will is made known. Our foremost desire is to remain faithful.
